The big drawback is the food database. Pair up with myfitnesspal & this app will be life changing. It needs to have a MUCH larger database and a barcode scanner. The database should be more streamlined. Too many categories ie basic foods, branded foods etc. I get favourites and custom but otherwise it should just search food. Whether its subway or an apple. To general of foods. No difference between types of apples? Just apple? Seems like it would be cumbersome to use because youd have to enter most of your foods yourself. I tried letting the app generate meals for me but even if I put tiny meal for afternoon snack it said to eat three medium bananas. Whos going to eat three bananas for a snack?? Lunch would be normal size setting but then plan for me to eat 3oz cheese. I said to exclude peppers which was a pre-defined option in the setting but when generating my meals it pulls up red bell pepper (3 cups might I add.) Definitely has bugs to be worked out. I will keep watching for updates because it has huge potential just needs some more work.
